Pulisic at PSG would be something to behold since Neymar is supposedly leaving.

I would be surprised if he left. But it's also interesting to think about an endgame where he does leave - especially if he's a makeweight.

    (1) would satisfy Chelsea's interests in accelerating deals. (1) and (2) would be terrible optics for Boehly's Chelsea and its ambition to claim US dollars. (3) would be awfully late for deals like de Ligt.

    So maybe Pulisic stays.

I know this is a plausible scenario but I would guess January would be a loan instead of an outright sale. And it would still leave Pulisic at 1.5 years remaining on the contract so if he has a good WC, why would he agree to a January move when he can just ride out the contract and get a big payday?

It doesn't accelerate deals, though, does it? It makes things exponentially more complicated... it mostly provides many more hurdles which might contribute to a deal breaking down.

Yeah, he's almost surely staying; PSG aren't coming in for him. There are not many suitors which fit the bill for all parties. It's one of those kinds of situations.

1 year contract extension, Jan window sale!

(I have no idea. I'm just making stuff up too!)

Agreed. Trying for window (1) and avoiding (2) and (3) might make Chelsea happy but it doesn't make the move easier.

    :)

I get why Chelsea would want this but I can't see why Pulisic would agree to it.

    I don't know - unlike Chelsea fans - I just can't remember.

    Title change if he stays?:

I do wonder what Vegas odds are on his transfer?

CP10 would look good in zebra stripes as he flashes by Italian defenders. Can Chelsea just do us all a favor and get this deal done so we don’t have to go through a whole summer and ups and downs? I ain’t got time for that! De Ligt And CP10 switch makes sense. Chelsea need to replace Rudiger and CP10 would make a fun trio with Chiesa and Vlahovic.

my god this would suck if they did it before the July match in Charlotte since I have tickets with my daughter. We have zero desire to see Chelsea.

im not sure an extension makes any sense here, cause isnt the biggest hurdle to a move at this point his salary? chelsea aint recouping that transfer free- but unless you can somehow la galaxy the books, say, give him a big signing fee with much lower salary it doesnt make a move any easier for anyone.

On the other hand, maybe Juventus would like Pulisic to be available for their summer tour?

Yeah, I don't know that it make sense for anyone, I just wanted to post a different random speculation than other random speculations. I still hope he goes to leeds.

I can’t remember the last time a significant player trade or swap happened in soccer. Rumors abound, but it never happens. This will never happen,

It doesn't happen all that often so I am not getting my hopes up... but it would be pretty cool if it did.

I think the transfer window would be sooooo much more interesting with more swap deals. I can think of a few…. Cassano for Pazzini, Matic for David Luiz, Quaresma for Deco, Zlatan for Eto’o and William Gallas for Ashley Cole. I think they all panned out, too.

Do you all remember the good old days when Pulisic was Chelsea for life, a fan favorite who had proved his worth? He pulled his hammy and took an extra couple steps to get the shot off in that cup game.

That good will was spent in what, a week?

I think if he was a 'good lad' and we know what that means, then he'd be in favor because of the flashes of brilliance he's showed and games he's made a difference in.

best thing for CP is to leave
