That guy Kante on the bench is pretty good if Kovacic can't go 120. Pulisic still had to get the nod over Werner and Ziyech, which doesn't seem obvious to me. But exciting opportunity.
Say what you want about the deleted tweet by pops, but playing time has not been an issue since. And Pulisic has made the most of it. A big game with nice weather, which normally bodes well for Pulisic's performance.
They are talking about Pulisic taking the spot of Havertz, but I think it is Lukaku that has taken that spot. Pulisic was subbed off early in the last game, while Lukaku went 90. I don't think the plan was to start Lukaku after he went 90 the other day. I wasn't sure about Pulisic, but the sub in the last game gave me some optimism.
any confirmation about Havertz being injured? CP gets a chance today .... with Ziyech and Werner on the bench I assume Mount will go 90 minutes plus. CP is playing well - he is healthy - he does tend to play well against Pool. Should be an interesting day.

Excellent game for CP today. Chelsea’s brightest player. If you watch an all-touch video, you can see he was on point today. it’s just those 2-3 missed chances that really would have put his seal on the game
The Shed End is comedy gold. They have gone toe-to-toe with either the best or second best team in the world in two cup finals in 2022 and they all seem to think their players are shite and all need to be replaced. Well, except for James, Chilwell and Mount. But the rest, shite. Well, Silva is good, but old. Kante great, but never healthy. But every single player on the field not named above is absolute shite because they went 0-0 in 240 minutes against Liverpool.
great match by CP ... but if he puts away one of those first half chances they don't lose this game on PKs. if he wants to be truly great - he has to put a stamp on the game by insuring his team scores. pretty cool seeing Mendy stop Mane. better team did win today. despite Mount being "the golden boy" - he was poor all day. have to add one more comment - as good as CP was and he should have scored or assisted in the first half .... and the Shed End and others will criticize him - who is the big buy and bust of the year in multiple ways? Big Rom. Boehly and club management have some serious thinking to do about a bunch of players (Rom included) and Tommy and what they expect.
Just avoid Twitter, Reddit, Talk Chelsea, Shed End and the other Chelsea fan boards. Trying to 'defend' Puli only makes things worse. He had a decent game, shame he couldn't score.
I did see that Werner injured himself during warmups which is why he didn't get an appearance. Chelsea fans are just frustrated with the loss. They are even taking it out on Mount right now. Just one more point I think and top 4 is guaranteed and the season is over.
There was a field full of great players and none of them did any better. This was a battle of two of the top five teams in the world and Pulisic was the most dangerous player. No need to make excuses or justify anything.
A few are getting scolded by others for being too negative about Mount and/or Tuchel. But it’s open season on everyone else, particularly Pulisic.
