I think it’s more the constant soft tissue injuries that have contributed to a really meaningful loss of pace.
and yet ESPN FC has it as a 4 - 4 - 2 with CHO and Lukaku up top and Mount on the left with Ziyech on the right ....
I am so tired of watching pressing-is-the-only-thing teams with slow anemic offenses. Lukaku was built fto be the center of combination play, but the players who can do that never play with him. And there is such a risk aversion norm in the way they play.
well it is a semi derby day with Spurs visiting the Bridge ... TT needs the 3 points .... Lukaku needs to perform .... CP just needs to keep his chin up and be ready no matter what. Time to show character. CP has a long career ahead of him and to be patient and positive. I agree with your point btw.
My gut feeling was wrong. I'm not sure what makes Tuchel think that Hudson-Odoi and Lukaku are going to do much damage together. With the way Spurs are playing, maybe Chelsea will win anyway. But this has to be disappointing for CP. More than usual.
So tired of tuchel benching cp all the damn time. I know we are "happy" that cp will have rest for this week's usmnt games but I'm sure cp isn't thrilled being benched again when he's done everything tuchel has asked him. Straight BS
Is the sky falling? CP on the bench after playing a ton of minutes in a lot of matches in the last month. Sounds like the sky is falling?
It was a pretty shot - but not a scorching one. GK could've done better. He just kind of wished it miss or hit the frame.
If you saw the first goal, CHO received on the left flank, turned and blew by his mark and dribbled from the left into the middle and setup Ziyech. The type of play Puli used to always look to make but doesn't anymore. Would suggest part of the problem here is between Puli's ears.
I think in Pulisic’s case maybe he shouldn’t even start for the US. He needs to earn his spot through good form and grit.
