The Spanish clubs that can afford him are already set with top keepers I don't think Athletic Club can afford to bring him back
I had a funny vision in my head when I saw Kepa sitting up in the stands the last two matches. In my vision, Caballero gets a knock and needs to come out. Frank points to Kepa in the stands but Kepa waves him off just like he waved off Sarri last year. "No mas, Señor, no mas," he says.
?yup and if i was a team owner I am firing any player that refuses to come off the field when the coach tells him to, and would go so far as to try and not pay his contrast due to some breach of some clause. If I couldn't make it stand, then I am going to be putting something in all other contracts that will allow me to fire you with no further obligations due to your insubordination.

You're right, they can't afford to take him as a loanee on the normal basis, which is paying 40-50% of his wages. Finances apart, the real question is whether Chelsea can afford to keep him around like a ghost and contaminating the dressing room atmosphere. The best option would be to offer him to Athletic Club or someone else in Spain with them picking up 20% of his wages so that he can get his head back together. If he does, they have a saleable asset. If he doesn't, they're no worse off financially and at least he's out of sight and therefore out of mind.

The Professional Footballers' Association Young Player of the Year is an annual award given to the player aged 23 or under at the start of the season who is adjudged to have been the best of the season in English football.
chelsea and united votes split, everyone is so sick of liverpool, a keeper? cmon... ladies and gentleman your pfa young player of the year mr short shorts, jack grealish.
If you made this a U-22 award the way that MLS sort of unofficially does these days, the options would be: Trent Alexander-Arnold Mason Greenwood Mason Mount Christian Pulisic Alexander-Arnold still wins that though.
I get that. He seems to rise up in big games. But I also agree that the hill is too steep for Chelsea this time.
From that article: “We will get him fit and ready, if he misses the first one or two games, then we can wait for a firing Christian like he was from restart,” Lampard told reporters.
