Sad to see it end like it did but Reyna is a great player and I applaud him for all he has done with the US team

I agree with all of them except McBride; he can still contribute, IMHO.
And I think the key to what BA said is the bit about being asked right now; probably anyone with anything to do with the team feels like packing it in tonight.

What about Kasey Kellr? Isn't he getting up there in age also? Nothing like having the middle of the team from front to back leave though, man that really would change the way the team looks and plays. that may be a good thing though.

Keller is what, 36? 37? If Howard plays regularly for Everton and is therefore match fit, time to give him a regular shot. Same goes for Hahnemann if Reading stay with him in the Prem.

"On this one play, the aging Reyna demonstrated all his vulnerabilities at once. He not only lost possession for his lack of urgency, he also was injured and later required replacing."

It would be nice to see him play in a NY uniform before he heads off to the Hall of Fame. Although with his injury record, we'd probably be getting Tab Ramos, Part II.

I saw an interview with him and in a nutshell he said he has no plans of retiring from international duty anytime soon.

Reminds me of Tab. Just hope we don't pick him up. Too easily injured.

    Agreed.

I have to wonder how long he'll continue with Man City? They can't be happy with all of his time out, injured.

Did anybody read the article on NY Times last week that he bought a condo for 1.4 or 1.5 million in lower Manhattan? The artticle also mentions that during summer break he and his family spend times at the Hamptons. Reyna grew up in Springfield New Jersey, I would not be surprised that one day
he will wear Red Bulls Jersey, which, by the way, is the best desgined jersey in MLS in my opinion.
