Why does this feel like the beginning of a sinking ship?

They're certainly one my list of three to go down: West Brom, Sunderland and Bolton.

    Sunderland defeated by Belgians

Chants of 'Reid out' reverberated around the Jules Otten Stadium as the Black Cats saw their unbeaten run in Belgium ended...

    From SAFC

It also indicates Reyna was taken off at 61 min.

    KILBANE DEVASTED, SAYS REID

Peter Reid branded Kevin Kilbane "stupid" after watching the winger make a two-fingered gesture at Sunderland fans.

Is Reyna the only good player there? Will Claudio be enjoying the sights of the 1st Division next year?

    sad but most likely true...

if sunderland goes down next year i would think you would see claudio purchased by another club in the EPL.

Well, at least he'll be able to completely devote himself to helping his club get promoted back into the EPL, without having to worry about Mens National Team duty.

Atleast he did not get injured.

The ship at Sunderland is taking on water very quickly. A rough start to the season for them could mean an unexpected vacation for Peter Reid.

    Pre-season, means nothing.

If they lose in the league games, then it's time to worry.

    REYNA TO MISS SPAIN TRIP

Claudio Reyna is nursing a slight groin strain and will not travel to Spain as Sunderland prepare for their final two pre-season games.

But there is no danger of the American midfielder missing the Black Cats' Premiership opener against Blackburn Rovers in 10 days...

I should get a yellow card for typing something so stupid. I should know better.
