Seems to be a little better of a deal than before at least. Dallas is quietly becoming a very solid team though, and could definitely be a sleeper this year to go far into the postseason.
According to a story on DC United web site, Milton has been traded to Dallas. Dallas bought out and released midfielder Gavin Glinton to make room for Reyes. http://dcunited.com/index.cfm?section=main&cont_id=242130 I really liked Reyes and wish we could have worked out a deal to keep him, even at the expense of developing Namoff as much.

glinton?.... that name sounds familiar. is he any good? can he score goals? can we sign him? seeing as he was released by Dallas, I think the answer to all questions above are no... but i thought it wouldn't hurt to ask

He was with LA early in his career, and came on decently. Probably will have a home in the A-League if he wants it for now. Where is Ali Curtis now?
So, we traded Moreno for Reyes basically. Then of course you can't forget we traded Barclay for "future considerations" too.
OK, one of our resident historians can check me on this, but didn't Reyes take down Glinton in the box to set up a Ruiz PK goal when we traveled to LA two years ago? I may be wrong, but I'm quite sure that Glinton either scored or won a PK against us, and I also seem to remember that Reyes was involved.... Anyone remember? In any event, I'm still sorry that Milton is gone, but good luck to him at Dallas.
I think that's why I remember him. Convey saw red that game, Ali Curtis made a ridiculous 40 yard run with the ball to score in about the 83rd, then Ruiz torched Pope to score late. Glinton came on, Reyes nailed him, and the game was over.
