Revs v. Santa Clara (R) According to their website, RTPi will be broadcasting the game tomorrow on tape delay at 10:15 PM. The Boston time is the middle time listed. 03:15 22:15 14:15 FUTEBOL Santa Clara vs Boston Jogo diferido RTP Açores (No intervalo CONTRA-INFORMAÇÃO) EDIT: Sorry, didn't realize it was already in another thread.
The game will be webcast tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 on RevolutionSoccer.net. Brad Feldman will be behind the mic.
I think there's only one RTPi feed, so if you get that channel anywhere in the US, it will probably be on.
If you have Dish network, you can get RTPi a-la-carte for $4 per month. You could check the local bars to see if they have Dish network, then bribe them to get the station.
hmm eh what time is that pacific? i found out when my dad went to the Azores it was the same flight that the Revs went on.
just visited the RTPi website. looks like the time has changed to 11:10 pm....unless of course they've lost something in the time conversion on their site. 04:10-23:10-15:10 SOCCER (lisbon, boston, sidney) Saint Clara versus Boston Differed game RTP Açores (In the interval Against-information ) Guia TV, 17 March note: oops, the link doesn't work all that well. find the link button for "Guia TV" along the right side and press the RTPi "tab" along the top of the next page you get to. from experience with RTPi, you might want to plant yourself in front of the set at 5pm and wait! remember a couple years ago checking soccertv and RTPi for a soccer game......when i came home? 2 hours of fado. well, at least i like fado.
On revolutionsoccer.net...it talks about the webcast happening at 9pm ET, which I believe will be a live call for a game that starts at 5pm in the Azores.
That's really strange, b/c Azores time is 4 hours ahead of Mass. time. Meaning if the webcast is live at 9PM ET, it's 1AM in the Azores... I'm thinking it's a typo and the game is starting 9PM Azores time, so I'll be tuning in at 5:00
i'd call the revs....but, i don't think a ticket rep is going to have all the correct info and/or tell the webmaster to include in the game notes that the game will be shown on rtpi as well tonight. oh....and if you go to the "full story" on the revs' site. it says that the story was posted at 2:05 pm today (3/17). which of course is 2+ hours away from when i'm posting this. i think someone is having trouble with the "wayback machine" over there.
okay....i was wrong. called m.d. over at revs central and he found the time is listed incorrectly for "live" audiocast. of course, i've already forgotten what he told me....but, i believe he said is should be 3pm. he is in the process of getting it changed on the site.....so check there for the up-to-date info.
The story was posted at 2:05PM local time in the Azores, which was 10:05AM here in Boston. The Azores are four hours ahead of Boston. FWIW: I've sent an email to Brad Feldman alerting him to this confusing part of the release... hopefully he'll be able to change it. The Magpie
For what it's worth, the Game Notes released by the team to the media is very specific. It says the match starts at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, and 9:00 PM in the Azores.
Just heard back from Brad: mistake should now be corrected. Tune in to Revolutionsoccer.net at 5:00PM EST to hear the broadcast. The Magpie
Revs Game Today LIVE Online! revolutionsoccer.net Projected Starters: New England Probable Starters: A. Brown, Franchino, Pierce, Llamosa, Heaps, Leonard, Dempsey, Cancela, Baker, Twellman, Moore.
I get RTPi here in Rhode Island, its channel 23 in my part of the state (little compton). But i may only get it because I'm close to Fall River, Mass...aka Portugal.
The Portugese press release that Magpie linked to in today's news thread described Foxboro's location by saying it's close to Fall River, New Bedford and Taunton. Fortunately for me, RTPi is on Cambridge cable too, so I'm hoping to watch the game later tonight.
