When your big #9 foreign goalscoring acquisition arrives, you trumpet it to the high hills.

    Silence can only mean problems.

A 3-0 drubbing at SKC, 6 people at the Sunday event followed by an apparent Moreno no-show yesterday (after his arrival date was already postponed from last Wednesday) makes this quite a week for the Revs so far.

They really seem to have no concept of how far behind most of MLS they truly are, on and off the field.

The organization going silent doesn't make any sense, since they put out the training report today anyway so they have to comment on it. Allowing time for maximum revision on their spin control?

Maybe he's here and they're just busy doing a real sexy photo shoot to get more soccer moms. They'll let us know when they're good and ready.

I'm beginning to think they are behind NASL and USL pro teams.

Orlando will raise an MLS Cup before a Kraft-owned Revs team does, that's for sure.

It's sad to think that the expansion teams from the past few years have all already done more than the Revs.

TFC in the semifinals of the CCC.
    Seattle three Open Cups.
    RSL MLS Cup.

Philly, Portland, Vancouver all in their own stadiums.

Really is just Chivas keeping us company.

Anyone else find it odd that their Big offseason signing is AWOL? The FO
    a. Has no idea what is going on or where he is
    b. Know exactly where he is but don't think they should update the fans
    c. Know exactly where he is and are figuring out damage control since he is not coming

I've accepted that we are not MLS 2.0, but can it be possible to devolve to what is below MLS 1.0?

Even the picture on his wikipedia page is grainy:

It's a buffet of unpleasant options. Honestly, how hard it is to put it out there that he hasn't arrived and the team is supremely pissed off?

I'm bringing a decent camera to any Meet the Revs events that get held. Assuming he's in the country in time, there'll be a better picture up after that.

Let's be honest, the average fan isn't following this story anyway. I'd imagine a majority of the crowd on Saturday will have no idea who Jose Moreno is, let alone that he's on our roster. The more the Revs say in public, the better the chances the story is picked up by a big media source and the average fan actually hears what a disaster the acquisition has been.

Casual fans aren't going to notice either way and big media already has all the fodder it needs to write that story. Meanwhile the Revs could send the message to the people who do pay attention that the team is fed up with this nonsense.
