    mfls reports that NE signed John Wilson, the mystery #28 player who scored against Colorado.

    if this is true....i certainly hope they don't hex the guy by putting his name on the back of his jersey.

    I wouldn't put too much stock in this. MFLS has a less than stellar track record as a reporter of transactions. my guess is they may have made this 'move' just so that Wilson becomes an available player in MFLS. He'll probably be off the MFLS NE roster again in a few days.

    All A-league call-ups are reported that way in MFLS. Where were you when Chicago "signed" Johnny Torres?!

    its false. They reported earlier this year that Williams was waived. Wilson is a call up and will not be signed.
