I was worried as soon as I read that article. I think Kessler's chances of staying on the main roster just took a big leap.
I suspect that the Revs will look to sign another CB. Maybe bring in a couple Trialist. This is still a position of need for this team. Mancienne has had one health issue after another since he arrived so that really leaves Delamea, Farrell and Kessler as CB options
With Camara removed, Revs current roster stands at 25. This does not including waiver draft pick-up Jeff Caldwell, who has not been signed yet, or the two un-signed SuperDraft picks (Lekressner, Meyer).
Caldwell was acquired during the waiver draft and therefore already has a contract. He does not need to be signed. Kessler is a generation addidas player, and therefore also already has a contract and does not need to be signed.
It could be a mistake, but Caldwell is not listed on the roster here. Kessler was included in the 25.
