From the powers that be at the Overdraught:

The OD will be giving 1 Revs Ticket and an Amstel Light Flute glass to the first twenty-five people that buy an Amstel and 1 revs ticket to the next fifty people that buy an Amstel. A couple of Revs, maybe even a coach will be there. Not sure yet who but hopefully they’ll announce it at the stadium.

Hopefully we can get a good showing there sunday!

I think it's great that the Revs are finally having events for the adult fans. I went to the one at the Irish Village and it was a lot of fun. It was basically just hanging out at the bar having a few pints with the guys.

I was at the Overdraught event from 6pm to 8pm. Low turnout, from what I saw. The Amstel offer was fantastic-- got 2 tickets and 2 glasses. Also discovered I don't like Amstel. ;)

Anyway, it was more than just Kamler and Reis. a boatload of players, including Shalrie Joseph, Clint Dempsey, Avery John, Felix Brilliant, Andy Dorman, and Luke Vercollone (sp, no doubt) stopped by for a meal. The fans were outnumbered by the players. It was neat to say hello to all of the rookies, though.

Are people just not finding out about stuff like this? Given the high turnout for the season opener, I was hoping for a few more fans to show up. I talked at length with both Kamler and Reis-- absolutely great guys. It was interesting hearing about the Sporting match and the bashed teeth straight from Kamler. :D
