U.S. start stops Jamaica by Jamie Trecker Leave it to Jamie to find something bad to say... in this case, about Steve Ralston: "Klein sat out the second half, allowing the Revolution's Steve Ralston to get his third straight cap. It proved to be a somewhat awkward move, as the U.S. team clearly did not look as good without Klein."
BA was quoted as saying that he wanted to get Steve a game because he's been doing so well in training. I'm pleased for Steve, personally. Too bad TT didn't get any time in. I wish the damned match had been on regular TV. I heard Convey had a great game in the midfield.
I wish I had known it was on TV... ...I wouldn't have gone online to find out the score when I got home. Telemundo broadcast the game at 12:30am, which was half an hour after I got home from work. I watched the halftime highlights though. Two nice goals, and a good win coming of the last game. As far as Ralston and Twellman go, both will get plenty of opportunites to show their stuff, especially if they continue having solid MLS campaigns. Let's just hope the Jason Kreis international disease doesn't strike them.
Much to my dismay, I don't get Telemundo so I couldn't watch. Univision and Telefutura but no Telemundo. I think Ralston will get another match or 2 soon.
