That was one of the oddest games I have watched.

FTL completely dominated the first half, outshooting R2 15-1. But a combo of good defense and poor finishing (only 1 shot on net, hit the post 3 times) kept the score 0:0 at half time. Hundal in particular had two golden chances (1 in each half) from 2 yards out and somehow missed both.

FTL removed 2 first team loanees for the second half, and it was a much more even game.

Ryan Sierakowski, signing with R2 only 3 weeks ago, took advantage of an opportunity from 12 yards out to score the only goal of the game.

The game was stopped for a lightning delay in the 81st minute, so I didn't watch the end.

I was impressed with the 2 new CBs. Jon Bell and Colin Verfurth stayed with the first team, so Francois Dulysse and Sean O'Hearn made their R2 debuts and did well. Both were picked in this year's SuperDraft (O'Hearn by MIN) after having signed with R2 in December.

Both played 76 minutes (and both got yellow cards, too). With Jones on a red card suspension, I expect Mafla will start for the first team vs DCU.

Note, 8 of the 12 USL-L1 teams have yet to play a game. R2 are now off until Wed May 12th (home vs Omaha) while the rest of the league catches up.

So R2 not an option to get Traustason up to speed.

True, but he shouldn't need it from a fitness point of view.

Nice! I'd like to go to an R2 game in Foxboro at some point, but their ticket links are all still dead ends. Their home opener had spectators, but it was limited to staff and family.

There is still no mention of the game in Hartford anywhere on Revs site.

game ended in a 2-2 draw. Revs II took an early lead like 60 seconds in. HA tied it up and went up 2-1. Revs II drew even late in the game like the 89th , Could not make the game but I am hearing the two goals by R2 were soft goals with the Keeper being at fault. HA sat most of their starters

R2 lose at home, 0-1 to Omaha. Damien Rivera looked good for R2.

Formers Revs player Nicolas Firmino now playing for Omaha, and was one of their best players.

No sign of Mafla or Caicedo in this one.

Did anyone stay for this one?

R2 blow 2-0 lead, but hang on for the draw:
