Exclusive: Revolution II Head Coach Richie Williams Speaks For 1st Time Since 2023 Sam Minton Mar 14, 2024 theblazingmusket.com Before you get all excited, Richie pulls a Belichick when it comes to Arena-gate:
Yeah, I don’t get why he can’t say the same thing, while being honest. - I don’t want to speak about it - I am willing and anxious to talk about this team - I understand that people want answers, but I’m not going there
I love the term 'grow'. The club has performed like crap ever since this all went down. I'd say that's the opposite of growing.

POSTGAME NOTES: Revolution II Defeat Carolina Core FC, 2-1, in Home Opener revolutionsoccer.net Sunday, Mar 31, 2024, 07:12 PM Panayotou and Fry each with a goal and an assist. Fry scores early with a header off a Panayotou corner kick. In second half, Fry drives to the net, his shot is blocked by a defender, but he slides to poke the ball back to a charging Panayotou, who buries it. Maciel came off in the 40th minute, I presume this was due to an injury, based on the timing. R2 off until Wed, Apr 10th, when they travel to face CIN2.
This is odd: New England Revolution II mutually agree to part ways with defender Collin Smith revolutionsoccer.net Friday, Mar 29, 2024, 02:00 PM Smith played all 90 minutes of the first game (March 24th), and 5 days later he is gone. He has been here less than 3 months.
ive been told hes signing with RIFC. Not sure what the logistics are on why we couldnt get anything for him
Matchday 3 for R2. MATCH PREVIEW: Revolution II Visit FC Cincinnati 2 on Wednesday night posted: Tuesday, Apr 9, 2024, 02:20 PM revolutionsoccer.net
POSTGAME NOTES: 10-man Revolution II fall to FC Cincinnati 2, 2-1 revolutionsoccer.net Wednesday, Apr 10, 2024, 09:02 PM R2 played down a man for 35 minutes after LB Hesron Barry was red-carded for a head butt. Max Weinstein got his 3rd straight start in net, with JD Gunn on the bench (I am assuming Jacob Jackson has an injury, as he has yet to play this year). Despite the team being rested from having the weekend off, Richie used 4 of his substitutions at the halftime break. Like the first team, their next game is at NYC this weekend.
Hesbron sounds like a really talented, but volatile player (though, lets give him the benefit of a small sample size). Hopefully they can get more of the better parts.
Can't blame the stadium for this ... 6-2 loss to NYCFC II tonight. Gevork Diarbian with a goal and an assist. Jack Panayotou scored in the 8th to give the Revs a lead. It went down hill from there.
POSTGAME NOTES: Revolution II fall at New York City FC II, 6-2 revolutionsoccer.net Sunday, Apr 14, 2024, 10:26 PM Jacob Jackson got his first start of the year for R2. I don't think any of the 6 goals were his fault. Three of NYC's goals came in the last 20 minutes, when R2 were pushing forward. R2 travel along with the first team to TOR this weekend (R2 play Friday night), then it's 9 days before their New Hampshire home opener vs MIA 2 on April 28th.
Ex-Rev II related. Looked up how Jordan Adebayo-Smith is doing for Minnesota 2. He has four goals in four games (all comps) so far this season, scoring in his first game for them, and a hat-trick in his second. Thankfully we gave him up for allocation money. Great move Onalfo.
