At first I thought Reis had clotheslined Rolfe. In fact I called my son out to watch the replay. (He's a ref, too, and has "younger" eyes. ) The replay clearly showed Reis going up to block the ball and Rolfe coming in with a very high boot, out of control. Definite train wreck coming, caused by Rolfe. The "right ot the ball" does not supercede the safety requirement. Now, if Rolfe did commit a foul, why should the referee blow the whistle? Although I saw no "advantage" signal, the Rev clearly had the advantage. --------------------------------------- The Rev gave the Fire three shots for a dollar and comp'd them a dozen more. 59': Fire 1-0 Rev from Segares at the 6.
Our marking on that corner was non-existent...totally unorganized in the back...however, Twellman should have drawn us even there...
WHERE WAS THE PENALTY ON THAT! What a blatant dive at the end. Leonard was on him, but what he called was a blatant dive.
We're playing like past years.. and that's nae so good. Edozien and Vercollone for Latham/Cancela (65')
