You need a ride to a game home or away?

Post here and see if your fellow fans can help you out with a ride...

offer to pay for gas or buy them some beer for their troubles...

let the good samaritanism run rampant.

Now to start things off...anyone in the Durham, NH area heading to the game this sunday?

I'm asking for a friend in Groton. If anybody passes by there on I-95 and would be willing to give him a ride in the future, please pm me.

I drive from Stow at 117 and 495, it's only about 20 minutes to Groton from here down rte 119.

I live in Ayer like 5 minutes away, and there is a guy in Littleton, but I don't go to every game, so odds are I wouldn't be able to help him much:(

I am really sorry. I didn't realize there were five grotons in the northeast.

    I'll start over:

Does anyone pass by Groton, CT on I-95 on the way to the games and be willing to give someone a ride?

Re: Downtown Boston to the Game

    For a DC fan ... no. :p

No, there's no public transport to the games here sadly. You might be able to get a ride with someone coming from the Boston area, or maybe if you can take the train out to Riverside, I can probably give you a ride. But you'd have to be willing to be at the game early and stay late.

Don't worry, we don't throw bottles at the opposing fans though. ;)

I wonder if you're the first DC fan at NU, first I've heard of anyways and I'm a senior now.

But for the game I may have room depending on if you can get out to Watertown, cause I'll be leaving from the office. But as the game gets closer send me a PM or something and I'll probaby know if I'll have room if you have no other way to get there.

Re: Downtown Boston to the Game

No, he's not. Unless I'm very mistaken, he's at least the second - a friend of mine who doesn't follow the EPL is also a DC fan.

    ---

Hit me up on PM, I have my car on campus, and depending on the game, a spot in it.

The kind that don't throw batteries at cars? ;)

It's a good crew, but I wouldn't go crazy with United chants. Our not-so-massive group would outdrink all three of your groups easy, and we tend to get annoyed when we're not performing.

Why? Wasn't the idea behind the sticky'd car pool thread to have a place where people could post requests and/or ride offers?

Now the thread is cluttered and someone will have to read through the above banter to get to actual carpool info.

That whole "me having a car" thing? Not anymore. Besides having to send it home because I can't afford to have it in the city, let's just say I was in an incident on the Pike last night. So, sorry, but I can't drive anyone.
