some pictures/movies Charlotte and I took are at http://www.bastaic.com/ultras/revs2/ This DC United chant is coming from not-so-quiet-on-Saturday side, we were singing something different at the time http://www.bastaic.com/ultras/revs2/quietsidedcunited.AVI Last look at baseball-free RFK for future generations http://www.bastaic.com/ultras/revs2/ Thanks to Mike Terry for providing inspiration and pics for Jaime banner, Chris for finding a local paper supplier, everyone that covered my a$$ with donations and Duff for making me this awesome pic, it's already on my wall man
Great stuff! --I LOVE your camera (but not in a gay way ) Anyone that spills beer on Srdan's camera (other then Srdan) will be beaten by the entire Barra Those movies were the best. When you pan across the stadium from the top. I kept trying to take consecutive crowd pics starting around the quiet side, but could get nothing that conveyed the size of the crowd or how rowdy it was. WELL DONE (I will have my pics up late Monday night... I think!)
Funniest part of the night: I think it was during an injury lull, and the Barra was of course buzzing with anticipation and some worry, as it was late in the game. Rob gets up on a chair and turns around, looks like he's ready to start a chant..I see him look around really quick (maybe to see if Srdan was around?) and shouts: 'LA BARRACUDA!', laughs, and turns back around. By that point I really needed that laugh
Like I told ya all year long, GREAT f'n pics... You got a gift man when it comes to taking your pictures.... You've always manage to capture the best of La Barra... Specially for this last game.. Great job... Oh, and you are one creative f'ker too... (banners, mozaic(sp) etc...) Ok that's all the ass kissin' you get from me. Dougg LN PS: As always... thanks for the LN pictures too...
hehe I'm not that creative, I've just been following different supporter groups either in person or over video/photos/letters and now internet since I was 13 so I've seen things that work It tends to give you a lot of ideas. Oh and I like taking photos, allways have. When I was a kid I used to take BBB pics and then sell them at next game to finance pyro for my group Hey Owen remember to put some of those and week before games up so I don't get lynched by people looking for it on barra-brava.com Then again they might forget it by April
Great pics Srdan. My favorites are the long shots that show the field and the stands. You can really appreciate how many people are there. We're going to need to circulate CD's of all of the photos from this year. I'll be happy to kick in for disks, or help make copies for others! Great Job!
