The opposite path, relative to dad, as Jon Klinsmann.

Didn't know that Shaka lived in NE, but it makes sense, like many of the soccer analysts, with ESPN in Connecticut.

Odd decision on day-before-season-kickoff to do this and allow news to leak out.

The team decision to create news of a "Firing" anywhere in soccer org on eve of kickoff is just plain weird.
    >> News of any "Firing" is always a downer type of news, even when its the right thing to do.

Why make that contemporaneous with all of the uphill effort to create positive Buzz for the new season - ? SMDH.

Arena continues to remake the whole organization with his people.

FWIW, I think these moves set up revolutionsoccer to be in a better, more cohesive/structured, place when Arena decides to hang it up or move on. The whole organization needed a lot of changes and to become more 'professionalized' and I get the sense that's happening.

U15s get things off to a good start with a 4-1 win over De Anza Force.

They advance to the Sweet 16, where they play Real Colorado tomorrow at 6pm.

U-15s go down a man, but still score twice more to beat DCU and advance to the semi-finals.

U-15s lost 2-0 on two pretty sweet goals by Philly's Bajong Darboe. Highlights seem to show that we were on the back foot most of the game.

Darboe's story is pretty interesting, as he was actually on Minnesota's U-17 team as a 14 year old, but when they shut down their Academy team, he moved to Philly.

Hard to find info on academy teams, but based on this page:
    https://www.mlssoccer.com/mlsnext/standings/2021-2022/u19_mls-next-standings

The U-14 team is doing really well this fall. They break the standings up between League and Inter League records.

    Code:
    REVS MLS NEXT
     . . . League Inter
    Team . W-L-T . W-L-T . Total
    U-19 . 0-0-2 . 6-1-0 . 6-1-2
    U-17 . 0-3-1 . 5-2-1 . 5-5-2
    U-15 . 0-3-1 . 5-0-3 . 5-3-4
    U-14 . 9-0-1 . - - - . 9-0-1

That's Shalrie's team right? He did a great job with them last year as well.

I thought Shalrie was moved up to U-15, but I can't find anything to corroborate that.

U team success is hard to get excited about. The best difference making players in any age group typically play up at least one age group, so the revs having the best team of 14 year olds who can beat 12-13 year olds playing up a level isn't something I'm necessarily excited about
