    Notes:
-Seems like the last 3 years the Revs have had players that they thought would play big roles for the team leave mid-season (Cisse, Lozano, Stolica).
-Nice to know that Duckett, Horth, Latigue, and Polak developed at Rochester to become intergral pieces.

Source: MY own unofficial numbers throughout each preseason.

Jeez. I don't even remember some of these guys. Alan Koger, Zack Simmons, Otto Loewy. I cannot put any kind of face to the names.

Koger scored a goal and added an assist in the USOC qualifier game vs. DC and made the bench a handful of times in 2011. Loewy also played in that game and got a ton of anonymous reserve minutes that year - he was undrafted out of Winthrop in 2010 and caught on with the Revs a full year later as roster filler/training fodder. He hasn't played anywhere since (neither has Koger).

One thing you can say about the Revs in the Heaps era is at least they no longer sign guys they have no intention of ever playing just to meet the roster minimum.

How about Jesse VanSann(sp?) who fainted shortly after being subbed in for his first team debut?

Looking back four years later, I can't believe the Revs signed not one but TWO semi-pros (Niouky and Linck) that year. They really had zero clue how to acquire players at the time. (Now, they have some clue but end up with the wrong ones most of the time).
