Not much I could find on Lagoria:

    Name: Cesar Emanuel Lagoria
    Birhtplace: Avellaneda, Argentina
    Born:3/27/80
    Position: Midfield
    Current Club: Unknown (Qatar?)
Previous Club(s): Club Atlético Lanús (Argentina)

Looks like he was released by Lanús in 2002.

Apparently he was released by Lanus, so he's available for free.

He played 43' in a 2-1 victory over Independiente and 90' in a 1-1 tie with Rosario. Here's a "translated" mention from that game:

"While the work of the youthful Cesar Lagoria decayed, who was one of best of Lanús in the first minutes of the encounter playing in the place of Juan Fernandez I gave Alessio, the pressure of the set of Edgardo Bauza grew, that arrived at the deserved goal."

He's listed on the roster of Lanus' Clausura (fall) team in 2002 and 2001.

Clearly if he saw the field, even a bit, in the Argentine League, he can play. It's curious that they released him at age 23, but they had quite a few players moving on at the end of 2002. With the Argentine economy in a shambles, maybe it was a financial move.

    Qatar end of season...

Another player that just finished his stint in Qatar is Romário...

The world's in recession, but there's still cash in Qatar!

You don't suppose Cesar Emanuel Lagoria is just an alias do you...?

If Lagoria paints a picture of Nicol on the lockeroom lavatory door, it may be occasion for optimism.
    [semi-obscure Romario joke] ;)

This whole Lagoria seems either quite bizarre to me. He shows up here on a week's trial, and can't practice because of a sore foot? Did he arrive hurt or did something happen here? There's also got to be some story as to why a 23 year-old from the Argentine League is available as a free agent.

    Mistery player?

To be 23, he would have to bribe a LOT of people in the Passport office...

As for the BR picture- Are there all-night night-clubs in Boston? if not he would open one.
