Revs taught a Lesson in ugly Loss to Crew - South of Boston Patriot-Ledger (link won't work later today) 'Soccer Saturday' kicks off in U.S. - South Coast Standard-Times
Marc Connolly Article on ESPN http://soccernet.espn.go.com/feature?id=264874&cc=5901 This man speaks the truth that we are all saying. I wonder if SN is feeling some pressure about the midfield?
Re: Marc Connolly Article on ESPN A little pressure? No secret here. Nicol's been more than candid whenever this topic has come up. In interviews last week and on the weekend he's openly discussed the lack of a No. 10, and that - no Piotr Nowak or the like - is what ails them.
Re: Re: Marc Connolly Article on ESPN this is not why the revs were manhandled by the crew. and conolly is missing the point about jmm and the lineup changes. the only change that they need to look respectable is consistantly coming to play - dicipline and testicular fortitiude. thats what got them to the final. an a-mid is icing on the cake. jmm in that slot w/out the team coming to play will run like live chicken, freshly killed by decapitation. zidane wouldn't help any more than Andy Williams or Cate, or Gorter, or Beto or whoever unless this team gets organized. Pull out your tapes of Brasil in qualifcation, then Brail in the WQ. - Nicol better put on his best Filipao impersonation for the dallas game.
