    Sounds like the game was closer than the score indicates. Had not the Revs given up a PK and a sitter on extra time, it would have been close.

    Troubling details:
    Joe Max doesn't play because of a groin strain.
    Pierce pulled late in the 1st half because of a groin strain.

    Déjà vu?

    Sorry, watched the tape and we got hosed big time. Twellman was occasionally dangerous, Brown did well, Cancela tried hard, but no one else belonged on the field with Santa Clara, sad to say.
