    I know I'm being redundant, but props to both the Globe and Herald for sending FDA and Augusto 'Gus' Martins to Brasil to cover the team [Tony, start saving for next year].

    That being said, however, Martins is certainly knocking it out of the park on a consistent basis.

    I don't know if was an oversight, but here's FDA's effort:

    FDA could have a nice history piece about Americana. It was founded by families from the South that emigrated after the Civil War. It is probably the only Brazilian city where the main Church is Prostestant, and has the best fried chicken...

    No kidding. I'd read ubout that in a book called "Lost White Tribes". Pretty interesting stuff.

    However, looks like either Franky D missed his deadline or he was taking siesta all of Saturday. The Revs loose to a bunch of Confederates...:)
