If you contact Adidas, you can ask them about the returns policy. But I guess your best bet is just to go back to where you purchased the boots to try and get some compensation. Good luck.

Adidas usually is very liberal with returns. If you so much as break the elastic on a predator tounge, you can return it for a new pair/all your money back.

They all should be liberal. They make a good mark-up. Why risk repeat business?

    I have an idea.

People should pay a one-time membership fee of like $200 or something and they get to use boots for a couple months, return em' and get a new pair. It's not like Adidas or Nike is gonna lose a whole lot of money...

shops lose money by keeping them in the store, they probably do all their returns once or twice a year, so by holding onto them they lose money. that's why they're "stingy" with returns. Nike is alot worse than adidas when it comes to return, with nike, u have to have a seriuos defect before they take them back, so with adidas i'm sure you'll be ok.

That's right, inventory is bad. Where does everyone think all those people on Ebay get away with selling $130 boots for $40 and still making money?

At my store we got an email from adidas that said that the Pred's are not to be returned if the elastic tounge trainer is broken, this according to them does not affect the performace of the shoe.

I disagree with their view on this, I don't really care for the bands on the boot and I have removed them from my mania's that I had and my supernova's but for adidas to put something on a shoe that could fall apart and then not refund you for it smacks of bad business.

They just got on my nerves, I didn't like having them and my laces tied around the bottom of my boots, plus I don't like having my tounge held down I am so use to having one flopping around it it just bothered me not having that, I don't mind not having a tounge at all but if there is one there I need to have it mobile(personal quirk I guess).

Hi all! Just signed up to these forums!

I bought a pair of Adidas Supernova Firm Ground shoes in January. They split within about 3-4 months so i took them back, the store owner exchanged them on the spot, so i had a new pair of Supernova's. I have had them up until now, but they split again! I could actually poke my finger all the way through. I took them back today, but the store owner wasn't there, but he said he will exchange them for me on Monday. I am getting a pair of Copa Mundial's as i tried them on there and they were so comfortable!
