The award is for the best player in the world and Dani's comments seem to imply that Rodri is the only player outside the club he would favor, he doesn't take Rodri over anyone already with the club like Jude, Vini, etc.

The club will of course support player's nominated who contribute to its own title winning success; but, if it had brought Rodri as one of it's summer transfers and Mbappe had stayed in Paris then without a doubt the club would have righteously felt vindicated for its choice.

We don't need a CDM. We need someone who can play the ball for Tchou and Cama.

 

Why doesnt Carlo play Arda at CM more?

He could develop into an Ozil type player. Might as well try that first before looking for expensive outside solutions.

 

Because we have a lot of people that have to play right now. Mbappe, Valverde and Vini are all have to plays.

Then you have players that need to play or they'll get sad like Rodrygo and Tchou.

Then you have players like Modric who have to play minutes because he's all we've got in terms of being able to pick out a pass but he can only last so long. Then you have Cama and Guler who should be playing and developing on the field.

It's an absolute headache for Carlo.
