I don't even need to see the rest of the signings this summer, this is our best transfer.

Welcome to the 1st team Dani, a year late IMHO, but that's not really your fault is it?

Expectations are too high IMHO. Quality player, I hope he can put the expectations on the side and just do his thing.

Though I agree with you that some people's expectations are high, I think he will be fine. He's one of those youngsters that has raised his level of play each time he's moved up a level. I think he can do it again.

There will definitely be times where he could be caught out of position attacking, but I think overall he will be a solid player for us in the upcoming season.

It's always great to see a canterano promoted or brought back, the passion and commitment to the club are awesome to hear and see from these guys.

Expectations are high for everyone at RM though, Dani should know that as well as anyone. While I don't think he's the "best transfer" we'll make this summer or be playing in the WC Finals in 2014 he is good enough to come and strengthen a position that was a weak spot for us and continue his development. He still is a suspect defender prone to being caught out of position but as I've maintained he is much a much better defender than Marcelo was at the same age and the little Brazilian has turned out pretty okay despite high expectations as well. It's the nature of the beast here but I think he'll be okay.

Now you're exaggerating. Germany? Of course. Europe? Why not.

    World? You forgot............................................................................ Neymar.

Don't think your Asian friend hasn't considered Neymar. If Carvajal is converted into an attacking false 9, he can overtake Neymar in a matter of weeks! All he needs to do is learn those 4 and 5 star skill moves.
