Mourinho rings in the changes . . . (opportunity knocks)

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football...-manchester-united-premier-league-live-score/

    Struggling Swansea
Five points, 19th place in the table - only Sunderland are below them... it's not going well for Swansea. New coach Bob Bradley has to turn things around immediately and while this game today would have seemed a daunting prospect at the start of the season, Man Utd's recent woes will give the Swans a lot of hope of pulling off an upset.

    2:25pm
Mourinho says this is the only back four he can play
"Blind has a few problems, Shaw has said he can't start the game, Rojo is fine, doing OK. It is hard to have a really strong team, but then you can talk about the number of goals we don't score."

I'm concerned he might be going nuts.

    2:16pm
    Jose Mourinho's team choice
I don't get this at all. We keep hearing that Rojo, Darmian and Jones are being binned in the next transfer window, yet they start in defence NEXT TO ASHLEY YOUNG - who may I remind you, is not very good as a full-back.

And then in midfield there are four central midfield players. Carrick, Fellaini, Mata and Pogba. And Wayne Rooney, totally out of form and low on confidence starts next to Ibrahimovic.

There is no pace in any bit of that team. I can only assume it's a 4-1-2-1-2, with width provided by Darmian and Young. I cannot help but think Rashford is a much better striker partner alongside Zlatan. Rooney and Zlatan are going to be in the same positions all of the time. I'm very happy to be proven wrong though.

I'm pretty sure this Man Utd team is the Jose Mourinho tantrum equivalent of me making my goalie take penalties on Fifa when I'm losing 8-0

Mawson and van den Hoorn have started the last few games. Mawson is a young Swansea player. van den Hoorn a guy they bought from Ajax.

    Kingsley I have no idea.

The cbs have started the last three. The lb was their best player 2 weeks ago. Naughton is average at best. Taylor was a mess last week.

I think the biggest indictment of Man U the past few years is that Ashley Young keeps starting and playing for them.

Rangel completely misses a tackle on Rooney, who gets off a pretty dangerous shot that goes wide.

Routledge with a nice play to himself to get past a defender, then passes to no one.

Man U picks off a pass but fortunately they are very slow and there is no counter.

I think Sigurdsson is wasted on the wing, as he loves to play central anyway.

    Time to go get laundry.

I give Man U about 10min to first goal. Bobs got his tactics and players wrong. Needed the speed on the outside to keep young honest and daemon on his heels

And as I hit post. Not good bob. Not good.

Ki is a Damn waste of space. At least cork will play some defense.

Mawson has gone from non-league to League Two with Wycombe to League One with Barnsley to Premier League with Swansea in three years. A complete lack of top level experience but highly thought of.

Kingsley broke into the team at Scottish lower league side Falkirk at 16, Swansea bought him two years ago and he's been developing out on loan/on the fringes of their squad.

van der Hoorn has a decent amount of Erediviese experience but was never first choice for Ajax, his only season as a regular starter was 4 years ago at Utrecht where he won that club's player of the year award.

And of course Rangel is now 34 and was only trusted to make 9 appearances last season. As a group it's an underwhelming back four.

By a long shot. These last two weeks have been a disaster. How the hell he thought this midfield would hold up in a 442 is just baffling. He's gonna be lucky to last into January going like this.

I'd like to say I'm surprised, but we saw lots of poor personnel decisions as us coach. I still haven't forgiven him for Rico Clark against Ghana.

Ki is just eeffing horrible and Britton is a tempo setter.

They aren't playing with any ball winners in midfield.

I see the utterly useless ki made it past the halftime chop.

Too many times bob gets it right on the 2nd try. That won't work at 3-0. This isn't Algeria.

Nah, twenty years from now we'll have an American coaching in the Premier League as part of his long term goal of making it to the big time in China.

Maybe the first American coach in the Championship next year too.... Swansea will be bottom of the table if this result stand.... and, Hull City win too. This day keeps getting better and better for Swansea fans...
