If the MLS used the Home - Away, two game series who would be through right now? Revolution, right? Both sides got two home goals but the REV scored on the road so they'd be through?

Yes, the Kamler goal would be the difference-maker.

I would believe it would be the Revs on 3-2 aggregate. I must say that the stratgies for both teams would have differed at the end last night had aggregate scoring been used, but that's for a different day.

I'll bite, Chicago's strategy would have been to try to score two more goals?

Rev strategy would have been to keep kicking the ball aimlessly out of bounds or upfield without any attempt to possess the ball? Oops, that was the strategy.

That would be part of it. I also feel Chicago would have turned it up big time to try to get a closing seconds goal on Thursday, even more than they may have tried to. As you know 2-0 and 2-1 count the same in MLS, but are totally different in aggregate.

    Also, in the other series:

    Columbus over SJ 4-2
    Dallas over Colorado 4-3
    KC over LA 6-4

But like mentioned early, strategies would differ in the 2-game aggregate system, so I don't think we can really extrapolate current results to that system.

Actually, the rest of the world would have LA as the champion. Chicago and the Revs would be fighting off relegation.

Relegation, I can think of the two words Robert Kraft would use when told the Revs would have to go down to the A-League. And they're not, "No problem."

Actually the Revs would have finished 6th overall an therefore not be relagated because I dont see a league with 10 teams relagating 4 teams I would say 2 at the most.

As far as the table and relegation goes, while I appreciate the thoughts, I can't go by the single table without a balanced schedule, the big reason why IMHO you won't see it enacted in MLS.
