Well since the Galaxy are really really bad, at least Aston Villa are doing well. Coming off the win 7-2 win against Liverpool, we have Leicester next. I'd look at that result as a good gauge of how Villa will do this season. A win against Leicester honestly could see us as challengers for europa this season.
Should be a good one! It seems like everything is lining up for an Everton victory! Too bad no fans will be in the stands to enjoy it in person.
Tough breaks for Liverpool! As an Everton fan I can only say we got lucky! Bad challenge from Pickford who proves again that he can make great reaction saves but any time he has to come off his line or deal with high looping balls, it's an adventure to say the least. I hope van Dijk makes a speedy recovery.
Yep. Awful challenge by Pickford. Awful challenge by Richarlison too. He deserved the straight red for the potentially tibia breaking studs up challenge. That waived off goal though...WOW! The Toffees escaped with a point. Was disappointed in their performance overall.
He had demons. But man he was a hellevu player... RIP Maradona. #BREAKING Football legend Maradona dead#AFPSports pic.twitter.com/r5lapxjS5Y— AFP News Agency (@AFP) November 25, 2020
There are greats. There are legends. Then there are Gods. He did things that would still be mind-blowing today.

What's mind blowing is how his team-mates keptly shamelessly squandering the chances his brilliance had set up....
Troubled man, but what a genius. As a kid, my dad sat me down to show me clips of Maradona to teach me the importance of a good first touch. I wonder if he knows how high a bar he was setting for a 7 year old
If you aren’t watching Barcelona versus Juventus right now, you just missed a US men’s national team golazo!!! and what’s really crazy is that isnt even a spoiler and telling you which team is in the lead.
I jumped out of my seat! I’m telling you all in the USMNT thread, these guys are going to be fun to watch!
Watched the lowlights/highlights of the PSG v Istanbul Basaksehir game. Apparently, the fourth official made a racist remark directed at an Istanbul assistant coach with the coach getting a red card from the center referee. The center referee had a dear in the headlights look and probably had language issues as well. As the incident progressed, the players on both teams seemed to unify and ended up walking off the field. FIFA restarted the match the next day with a new crew of officials.

With the hoopla surrounding the Marine v Tottenham match, was just thinking back to what could have been for the Gs had the 2001 FIFA Club World Cup had not been cancelled. Couldn't fathom the excitement the boys may have felt with the chance to play Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
Lampard done at Chelsea. Looking like Pulisic will be reunited with Thomas Tuchel. Tuchel gets green light to start work immediately at Chelsea after Lampard sacking. Full story on a dramatic day #cfc https://t.co/wmIINKTeKk— Matt Law (@Matt_Law_DT) January 25, 2021
Not surprising Lampard gone. Last week I think I heard they had what, 1 win in last 9 against the top half of the table? Something like that.
Yep. It was more a matter of when. Part of me feel Chelsea wanted Tuchel all along and Lampard was always going to be a seat-warmer. He would've had to be unreasonably outstanding in just his second coaching job to meet the expectations to stay on there, I think.
