Dalmat is a talent, as is the boy Blondel. I think we desperately need to switch to some form of 4-4-2 now. Over the past 12 months Wing backs just haven't been working for us consistently, teams have figured us out tactically, just witness the last two games. Fulham had our number from the start and Chelski quickly adjusted after the opening half hour and we had no answer. This has been the pattern for some time. Team for Southampton: GK = Keller LB = Kochensky CB = Richards CB = Gardner RB = Carr LM = Blondel CM = Dalmat CM = Rednapp RM = Davies AT = Kanoute At = Postiga Doesn't this look a much stronger team and better shape? With the players we've got we can also be very flexible within it. Lots of movement and interchanging of positions, especially in midfield with Dalmat, Blondel and Davies floating around a playmaking Redknapp. The back 4 will also have a much more consistent shape, we've given up far too many goals due to positioning problems and hopefully this will alleviate that. Richards and Gardner will be the physical centre, with Carr and Kochensky as defensively solid but attacking full backs who can press forward when we want to force the game.
