The reserve Reserves' held their own and earned a 0-0 draw against the Kalamazoo Kingdom. Craig Salvati came up big on several plays in goal to help the Reserves maintain their undefeated record.

A good game by the Kingdom was blemished by #3 Andy Revenello, the 31 year old from Down Under. Near the end of the second half he screamed 'f... you' at somebody so loud the whole stadium heard it, a few minutes later a spikes up attempt at Nowaf's ankles after already being beaten down the line earned him a caution followed by an ejection.

The draw guarentee the Reserves no less than a piece of the Heartland Division Title.

Damn, I was wishing we'd win all the regular season matches. I suppose the second string can't be expected to win everything, but I think they'd have a shot.

  3. Ravenello was sent off for a head butt against us two weeks ago in Lemont, as well. As much as I'd like to run the table undefeated and untied, I'd be happy to get through 180 (or 200 thru ot) minutes of K-zoo thug ball without any serious injuries.

Didn't the point taken all but guarantee CFR 1st place in the division? Boulder are 6 points back with only 2 games remaining, but nowhere close on total goals or goal differential (the next tiebreakers). Boulder would have to score 15 goals in their remaining 2 games, and CFR none in their remaining games, while conceding 20 goals at the same time.

Forgot to mention that, we are gauranteed no less than a tie for the Heartland Division title, we hold the all the tie breakers. So I guess that would make us 2004 Heartland Division Champs.
