Basically, I would like to know something about them. What players usually play for the reserves and youths? Do they wear the same kit as the senior team? What kind of schedule do they play? Some kind of link would be nice.
In England there is an FA reserve team league and U19 and U17 FA youth team leagues. They are created around geographical groups of teams, i.e. Arsenal and Chelsea play in the FA Reserve Team League (South). This league isn't restricted to Premiership teams, for instance Derby, Coventry and West Ham also play in that league. There is a schedule for the these leagues along the lines of the Premiership at the start of the season, but as they are split there are play-offs to find an overall winner at the end of the year. Young players qualifying for the two age groups play in the youth teams and older players who don't make the first team squad or young players who the manager wants to see at a higher grade of football with a view to putting them into the first team play in the reserves. They wear the same kits as the first team. The club website should have a list of fixtures for all the teams at the club (including the Ladies team if you have one) and there's usually a couple of pages devoted to reserve and youth team reports in the matchday programme. I believe that as of next year the two youth team system will be amalgamated to just have one U18 team. This will bring it into line with the FA Youth Cup which is an U18 tournament.
