Looks like 49ers are investing in an MLS Republic FC if they are given a spot. They can take the Levi's dates if they want in my opinion. I wonder what the earthquakes think of this?
If they move to MLS, I wouldn't mind Sac playing the Quakes at Levi....as long as it's considered a road game for the Quakes...I hope they make it to MLS soon and that the NorCal rivalry between the two becomes intense....

went online right at 10am...best I was offered was 2 tickets for $17 each in end section "A"... even though it's preseason should be a fun event....Republic fans will probably be really pumped for this one
Consider yourself lucky. You may have gotten the last two. I hit it right at 10 and struck out. A tough ticket, just as I predicted.
At 1:50pm, I am finally able to get 2 of the $17 tickets. The strange thing is I had to search and purchase 1 ticket at a time. I ended up with 2 separate orders with 1 ticket each. Does anyone know anything about the parking situation?
Parking at CalExpo is usually $10. No problem to get in. Getting out is a pain in the arse though. If you don't mind walking a little you can find free parking across the street, that's what I usually do, and I've found I'm out of there faster than if I had paid $10 for the "convenience" of parking in the lot.
