We should close this thread, we already know that FCNY will not be ready tp play in 2010. We should make a new thread called "Report: FC New York Might Not Be Ready In 2011"
"Once US Soccer solved the problems of the USL/TOA situation Doug Peterson broke his silence and announced that FC New York would be ready for the 2011 season in the new USL Conference." So now he's telling us he's joining the USL Conference in 2011. Depsite the fact there very likely won't BE a USL Conference in 2011 since USSF D2 is a one year thing. As it is after NASL gets approval for 2011 (which if USSF sticks to their logic for denying the league this year they'll have to next year since NASL will have 10 teams in 2011). USL will be left with two teams. FCNY would make 3. Once again FCNY's leadership has proven to be full of shit, but that fits for a team announced on April Fools Day.
