There will be a replay on FSW. I'm sure someone will be along soon to straighten that out. HDNet is showing a replay at 5:30 pm Tuesday. I'm not sure if Summers carries HDNet on a hi-def screen, but if it does, someone needs to call them or another joint to set up a party. Seriously. You want to see this game in HD to relive the experience. Tim
per fox sports world web site: fox sports world thursday 11/11 2AM hope they show the whole thing and don't cut out parts to make it fit into 2 hours
For the record, HDNet will be showing the whole game in its entirety on Tuesday. They showed it last night/this morning on replay and even included the trophy presentation and songs afterward. Trust me, it is SO worth seeing this. The Moreno interview, ugh, even he couldn't make it through without getting verklempt. Tim
Game video in it's entirety is avail here: http://sports.yahoo.com/mls/recap;_...k1ODYyNDM2BHNlYwN0bQ--?gid=2004110605&prov=ap Mark
Yea, I went to mlsnet.com, and found the entire reply on-line! I'm wathing it now. Joseph was lucky to finish this game. Great goal by Esky! at 13:00 min now
They don't have it available Macs. I'm hoping that FSW will come up with another time slot than just 2:00 am. Thanks for the info guys. Michael
It's on mlsnet too, as always. You can just check the highlights, I just did: http://www.mlsnet.com/MLS/mls/events/mls_cup/2004/sights/ Those were spectacular goals by DC in terms of accuracy decision-making and difficulty IMO. Best of the year
This morning I emailed comments@foxsportsworld.com asking if and suggesting they were going to sub the East final for any of the 2 or 3 replays of the West final they have scheduled this week. Maybe it would help them decide if some more of us contacted them.
NOTE TIME CHANGE: HDNet now schedules the replay for 4:30 pm on Tuesday (tomorrow, the 9th). I suppose they moved it ahead an hour because of the overtime. By the way, Willie and Reed's in Bethesda is listed as an HDNet bar/restaurant on the hd.net website. Hence, if anyone is interested in watching the replay tomorrow, you should give them a call and see what you can line up. Cheers, Tim
Ok here's one, For those of you who have Fox Sports en Español. They're rebroadcasting the DCU - REV's game Tuesday 3-5 pm. http://espanol.sports.yahoo.com/tv/fse/tv463.html Don't know if they'll edit it down, nor if the SAP works for ENG. **note** can we merge both these threads?
On my on-tv guide, FSW (english version) shows "a conference final" replay from 1 to 3:30 pm on Wednesday. I tried to check the online schedule, but the file is missing on their site. Cheers, Tim
the PDF says the Wednesday replay is KC/LA and the Friday replay is DC/NE Bookmark this page: http://msn.foxsports.com/story/920998 It has this and next week's FSW's schedules as PDFs 2am Friday
Bump. Just wanted to remind everyone to set your VCR's and TiVo's to get the game at 2 AM on Friday morning. I'm recording the next scheduled program in case they air the entire game. Has anyone received word on if it will be condensed to fit the two hour time slot?
HDNet is showing the entire 3 hours again on Saturday http://www.hd.net/schedule_sevenday.html 2:30pm ET - Western Conference Final (2 hours) 4:30pm ET - Eastern Conference Final (3 hours)
FoxSports edited last year's San Jose-L.A. OT playoff game down to two hours for rebroadcast, and the Euro 2004 games that went to extra time got cut as well. For England-Portugal, they cut straight from the end of regulation to the penalty kicks (cue Beckham), so don't be surprised if they completely cut the two OTs.
