I need some information/tips on repairing cleats. Specifically Adidas predator Mania FG Lunar. The front instep[toe knuckle area] below the fins has come apart at the sole. I'd like to repair them to the best of my ability to see if I can salvage some use out of them. There seems to be enough material in the area to form a bond again with the sole, I'm not just not sure the best way to do it. Or what to use. Tape is obviously out of question considering the fins.

Any tips on techniques? products to use? other methods? etc?

    Thanx in advance,
    Jack

I hope this never happens to my shoes, but I can see it, as I'm already starting to wear down and sort of destroy the bottom of my gun metal Predator Mania FG's. One of the spikes is starting to disintegrate but not too seriously yet. I suspect I'll use some sort of epoxy or resin to rebuild the cleat if it ever really breaks down.

If you're having the WHOLE bottom detaching, I would suggest finding a good shoe repair place near you. Usually there's a place in strip malls or regular malls, but I bet one of the small ma-and-pa places can do a bang up job as well. I'll bet they can really fix 'em up good!

If this happens to your boots dont spend more on repairing them send them back to adidas! You have spent your money on a faulty product and they have to replace them.My friends had the same thing happen to the sole on a pair of champagne manias,he sent them back and they simply sent him a voucher....which he was able to buy the new pulses with. :)

Yeah you could try sending them back but but are they still in warranty? I had this problem with my Ps2's i have had 4 of the things and have all broken about a week out of the one year warranty then i haver to pay 65 quid for an exchange of it being free! I swear it's a ploy by sony
