boa, no canto inferior esquerdo onde está a opção post replay, por cima estão três coisas, a luz que indica se a pessoa está online ou não, no meio está uma balança e é ai que deves carregar para dares rep points a alguem, e ao lado da balança tens um sinal de exclamação para reportar um mau post.

I don't see any rep points anywhere. Where are these magical rep points? All I see is everyone with a green card that says, "POSTER IS AN UNKNOWN QUANTITY AT THIS POINT."

I'm guessing you have to be an official Big Soccer Suscriber to see this right?

 

Other people may give you reputation points based on their reaction to your posts. The icon in the lower left hand of the screen that looks like a scale is the entry point to the rep screen. Approve = green, disapprove = red, neutral = gray. The more approval ratings you receive the greater your reputation and number of green nipples you recieve. Conversely, a red nipple means you have not impressed many people.

You can check out your rep ratings by clicking on "My BigSoccer" in the BigSoccer Features box.

Does anyone know the rules regarding how often you can give someone rep points. and how many do you have to hand out before you can re-rep someone. Case in point when I try to Give Frank any Rep Points it always says that I have to spread my points around. Not just frank but other people that I have reped in the past

 

I don't know the exact rules. Basically it's to make sure that you spread it out. It happens quite often.

But to give rep, click on the scale on the left of the post you want to rep, then indicate if it's positive or negative. To check how many points you have, click on the scale on one of your own posts.

 

I think the gray ones come from posters that don´t have enough rep points to cause a positive impact.

 

I have been trying to give some rep points to a few posters but I think that once you give it to someone, you need to spread it around a lot before giving it to that poster again, for example - everyone wants to give Frank a rep, but until you give it to a lot of other posters you won't be able to give Frank a rep again. Seems only fair, I suppose...

 

I truly do not think this is a fair system of rewarding good posts. (NO, I am not just commenting because a currently have a "red" nipple.)

But in the early stages of building your reputation on these boards, 1 neg rep point can cause you to have a red nipple. Perfect example...a couple of weeks back one of the threads got a bit heated. Some things were said in the context of "A lockerroom conversation"

Man was I chastised, branded a racist made to look like a complete idiot. (all this from Posters who were obviuosly trolling, and not in tune with the thread)

My point is make sure you reward posters with pos rep, and not just neg rep.

And to all, no I am not a racist just a comedian

If we are all that sensitive we should not view these boards anymore, because I have read some things that would make Mother Teresa turn over in her grave.

 

Rep points can be cool and sometimes not. The thing I must be really respected because I have onl 1 red card ever to my name. The jackass is somebody named JC18 Star or something so.
