After 10/4 they will release my seats so anybody can purchase them. I do like my seat location and would prefer not to give it up.
He's still there. He's often out in Lot 8 before games by the Media lot gate into Lot 8 selling a few items.
I went from being more midfield to on-the-fringe on the quiet side during the past couple of years. However, I am in a section that will be the first to be filled by the various youth soccer groups. It is a 'hard' area of the stadium to feel as if there is any continuity.
Been a while since I last posted. I had season tickets from 1996 through 2012. I only dropped them this year because I couldn't make any but 3 games on the schedule. Given their strong finish, I think it's safe to say I didn't drop the tickets because I thought they'd be this bad. I still go every chance I get, which is not often. Hopefully, my schedule will work out and I'll get season ticket again next year. Saturday evenings, while good for most people, doesn't work for me anymore.

I didn't buy my 1/2 seasons ticket this year, because I was furious about a few things (parking pass change, NYRB debacle, Don Garber's a POS). Deciding if it was a nice day and I felt like going, I would buy a ticket. I wound up going to a handful games (less than 5 - fingerful?). I'll probably do the same next year. Go when I feel like it.
Well, what do you know. I can make 2 of the last three home games. I hope to get back on the season ticket bandwagon next year. They can't possibly any worse than this year.

That's true. Honestly, I've never heard of either. I know who Justin Bieber is, but I don't think I've heard a single song of his. I suspect I'm happy about that.

Been a plan holder since 2001. Went up to 4 season tickets, then down to 2 (kids grown) now 1 and next year none. First, I can't see rewarding this team/FO for the worst season in history. That isn't what I paid my money for. Tired of bitching and I can see plenty of top notch footy at home. English, Italian, French and Spanish leagues all highly available. Maybe I will be given a reason to reconsider before the new stadium. In the meantime, I have a buddy that hardly uses his tickets and I can buy from him or living social or the team if I really want to see a game next season. Can't waste any more of my money and don't want to see the team waste it either. Not completely done but damn close. Being relegated would be a relief.
Feeling motivated from last night, today I renewed my full season package. Went with the payment plan. Seemed like the right thing to do after getting a big ol' reminder of what success feels like. Even my ticket rep was still buzzing from the USOC.
Amazingly, the Cosmos are a team again. And, in first place, with a 4-point cushion. THeir dreams of making the NASL a competitor to MLS seem fanciful -- that's being kind. I fear they will make a joke of NASL, until and unless they force themselves into MLS...or go bankrupt again. But, I bet they'll add an interesting dimension to USOC.
What I meant was that it's probably fanciful that the NASL could mount an economic challenge in somehow presenting itself as a rival to MLS. First off, FIFA rules would sanction any group that openly sought to challenge the existing first division. Second, there just isn't the appetite for all that soccer here. Yeah, US sports history is full of rival leagues that eventually forced mergers (AL and NL, NFL and AAFC, NFL and AFL, NHL and WHA, NBA and ABA). More recently, though, there are failures -- WFL and USFL. The modern experience is that a national TV contract is a big key, though the USFL model shows that other pieces are needed -- like a sensible calendar. NOt sure if NASL has either piece. Success could happen, in theory -- and it could even happen that the NASL might be able to create the parameters to have a relegation/promotion system here. That would be a very long road, though. I don't think the Cosmos investors have that kind of patience. They want in to the first division, soon -- and probably couldn't give a rat's ass about the NASL or other NASL owners.
