...well famous sex researcher Alfred Kinsey. One great opponent of the movie does a bang up job of voicing stating their cause by releasing a statement on Wednesday. Robert Knight of Concerned Women for America charged that the movie "lionized" a man whose "proper place is with Nazi Dr. Josef Mengele or your average Hollywood horror flick mad scientist." http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20041110/ap_en_mo/film_kinsey_protests_2 Robert Knight of Concerned Women for America? Just trying to connect that one in my head. Let alone equating Kinsey to Josef Mengele. Focus on Family claims the film mocks Christianity and condones immorality. And one bright member of Generation Life believes "Kinsey" the movie is a documentary. And Robert Peters, the president of Morality in Media, believes AIDS, abortion, pornography and high divorce rate are all Kinsey's fault. I can't wait to see this movie!
Dear Mr. Knight: Thank you thank you thank you for the priceless free publicity! Love, The producers of "Kinsey"
how DARE those people harbor opinions such as those and how DARE they express them in a public forum! death to the dissenters!
You know full well we don't care that they have opinions, good for them. We enjoy making fun of dumbasses [like them]. You're included in the "we" by the way.
You know, given the context of this post, it sounds like your objecting to ratdog, TSO, and Foos for harboring opinions that those who object to this film are idiots, and worse, that ratdog, TSO and Foos have no business expressing them in the public forum. What's more, you're calling for their death. That's a bit overboard, don't you think?
' Actually, my original post here was a near word for word copy made by an lib on another thread about some college students supporting the "Iraqi resistance". Good for the goose, etc.
I think you meant I am included in the "them", not the "we". But I got it. If however, you are including me in the "we" that makes fun of dumbasses you're right. And you are included in that group.
Isn't this an idie flick? What were the chances that members of the moral majority were actually going to find the movie playing in their rural town? As Ratdog said, just a lot of free publicity for the movie.
Considering that most of the people who railed against Michael Moore's movie hadn't actually seen it, I'd say the chances of them seeing this one are remote.
