If Mainz win today(okay they won't, but still), then Duisburg will officially be the first side relegated. :)

Duisburg are gone, and Koeln have probably left it too late. Even though we (Frankfurt) are playing Lautern in the run in, I hope they overtake Wolfsburg and that incredibly crap club go down and stay down. They brought 72 fans to Frankfurt for their league game. Even Haching did several times more than that last year. They simply don't deserve to be in the 1st division.

Yes, you should - not everyone is as nice as I am :D.

    And hey, I don't even have a credit card - that's a great excuse!

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. I know, I know, Wolfsburg isn't a "real" club, it doesn't have "real" fans, the fans they do have don't get wasted and riot, etc., so they can't possibly belong in the BL. Last I checked, one's status in the BL depended not on how many visiting fans you have, or how many clubs you have, or how many years you've had a club, or how many years you've played in the Bundesliga, or how much merchandise you sell, or how well-choregraphed your fans' cheers are, or how much "tradition" you have. Rather, BL status depended on one thing, and one thing only--how many points you earned in the season. Given that consideration (the only relevant consideration), Wolfsburg belongs in the BL. Period. If at the end of this season, there are 15 teams with more points than Wolfsburg, I will be the first to say they deserve to be relegated. But if Wolfsburg is among the top 15 teams in points, than you should be the first to say they deserve to play in the BL the next season.

Ok, as soon as the Strandbad opens you'll have to wash yourself in the Maschsee to get your soul clean ;-)

Anyways, somehow our team wasn't better than the other pre-BL2 seasons this year... disappointing.

The crazy thing is I saw it again today, it was parking at the central bus station here in Hannover. It's following me because Tuesday I saw it in Goslar, that's where I took the picture.

I learned to take a camera with me everywhere I go because I actually saw Tierry Henry in a pub when I was in London in February.
I didn't mentioned it afterwards because I had no proof. (Would have been a little bit embarassing anyway to take my camera out there and take a picture)

    2 down, 1 to go!
    Its getting serious!

Duisburg and Cologne are mathematically gone since yesterday.
4 teams still fight against the last spot...
I will now list them, with their points, their goaldifferential and their programm:

    FC Kaiserslautern 31, -24, Bayern (H), Wolfsburg (A)
Its looking bad for them. 2 points down in 2 games, one of them being against Bayern doesnt exactly make for a positive mood. The last matchday against Wolfsburg will probably decide everything...
    VFL Wolfsburg 33, -21, Stuttgart (A), Kaiserslautern (H)
A win against Stuttgart would be extremely important... Otherwise we will have an exiting last matchday for sure...
    FSC Mainz 05 34, -2 Schalke (H), Duisburg (A)
Looking pretty good for Mainz. 3 points and 22 goals up, plus a doable programm to get 3 more points...
    Eintracht Frankfurt 35, -7
We have the best position of the 4. It would take a lot of bad luck for us to slide down there, but thats football... Nurembergers know all about it (remember 99)...

Poor old FCK, they'll probably see Bayern become champions there for the second year running AND they may get relegated the same day...

I just realized that there`s another team still in the battle:

    Hannover 96 36, -4, Gladbach (A), Leverkusen (H)
Extremely unlikely, but with only 1 win in the last 11 games they are not mathematically out yet... the chance or them getting no more point is pretty good id say, yet Kaiserslautern had to win both games, Wolfsburg had to win by like 15 against stuttgart :D and mainz and us had to gain points as well...
I kinda doubt that hat happens...

I think 1FCK will go down, but watching the highlights yesterday, they played really good in Frankfurt, and should have led them by at least two at halftime, but.... if they draw with FCB and Wolfsburg don't win in Stuttgart, or if booth loose then the last game Wolfsburg-1FCK will be a huge one, and I hope that will happen, a head to head game and the better stay up, the problem is 1FCK will have no choice only a win while for Wolfsburg a draw would be enough and the game is in Wolfsburg.. unless 1FCK beat Bayern and Wolfsburg loose....

Against Frankfurt the FCK was unlucky,
that the referee didn´t give them a regular goal.
Wasn´t offside, but it was very close,
without tv not easy to judge.
[But Hanke for Wolfsburg scored a regular goal against Mainz,
which also wasn´t given and could have changed this game, so ...]

Anyways, Lautern must hope on Stuttgart
or you beat Bayern, then you have a "final"
    in Wolfsburg.

    Lautern trust their young players,
i hope you stay in league,
    but it won´t be easy.

    Good luck, FCK. :)

I'll root for FCK. Good thing both teams don't have to play Hertha, then I might be conflicted. :D
