What I'm really looking forward to now is their Champions League campaign. I honestly think Lille will make it into the second round staging quite a few upsets in the group stage.

As a result of Ajax's elimination in the qualifier, Lille made it back into the second pot of this season's Champions League draw. They will be able to avoid the likes of Chelsea, Munich and Roma in the group stage.

    You go, guys! ;)

    Pot 2

    Olympique Lyonnais (France), 89.757
    Porto (Portugal), 87.553
    PSV Eindhoven (Holland), 81.640
    Bayern Munich (Germany), 80.960
    Chelsea (England), 79.950
    Roma (Italy), 76.020
    Celtic (Scotland), 60.023
    Lille OSC (France), 54.757 :)

Yeah, I think it's better than our group in the 2005-06 Champions League when we had Manchester United F.C.,Villarreal CF, and SL Benfica.

Lille are better than AEK and Anderlecht.

I like Lille's Champions League draw myself. While it is no given that Lille will make it through, I like their chances facing AEK Athens and Anderlecht. AC Milan will be tough, but perhaps Lille can sneak one out against them in France.

I'm also curious to this question - would like to pick up some tops (preferably w/ official name and number) for LOSC, but can't seem to find anywhere. Any French sites that will ship to the US? Official LOSC site doesn't seem to be able to do it.

    Cheers all.

Third place on ten points so far is not bad. I am hoping Lille can start out the group stage of the Champions League on a good note against Anderlecht on Wednesday.

Also, next weekend at home against Toulouse could be tricky as the boys might be looking ahead to their trip to Lyon the following weekend. The match with Toulouse will be vitally important!

    C'mon Lille!

Yeah, but I was disappointed with the result from the Nantes match.Prior to the start of the match, I thought we could win.
