There are a few somethings I wanted to point out re: the whole Bubba email. I am about 95% sure Bubba didn't have sexual relations with that man , but the email drives a stake into the heart of Trump's persona. You have a strong alpha male. A tough guy who won't take $hit from other countries, unwilling to yield or bend because he is such a tough, macho guy. However, the email exchange is both hilarious and embarrassing, mocking Trump. Something bullies hate. It undercuts his power and demeans him, which is why Seth Myers, Stephen Colbert, and Jimmy Kimmel bother him so much. Bullies don't like it when you stand up to them. They like it even less when you laugh at them. This is also true of his base. They see him as a strong leader. A Clint Eastwood-type strong man. This undercuts his personality he has been cultivating for years, even if it isn't true. Look at how they view Pete Buttigieg, a combat veteran. Contrast that image with Donny Bone Spurs. This simple email goes right to the heart of his support and humiliates him. The fact that the other person was potentially Bill Clinton* has to be a mindfcuk for MAGA supporters. It doesn't matter if it is true either. Think of all of the insults and petty nicknames that Trump has given to people over the years. Most weren't grounded in reality. Why should this one be true? It matters that it came from his friends. Not his political rivals, his friends. It comes from Trump's inner circle at that time. It shows that even his friends didn't respect him.
