This could be an interesting bell weather for his political powers currently. If her district sticks by her as Trump tries to primary her, others in similar red districts could point to that. Over the last month or so, as MTG has been saying things which basically amount to the "wait, are we the bad guys here?" meme, I thought it was a long con. MTG is an awful person and I thought she was cosplaying as a newly reformed liberal in order to get a bunch of likes on social media, and then in a month or two she would go "TRUMP IS THE GREATEST ALL YOU LIBTARDS ARE SUCKERS" or something like that, you know, ha ha, way to own the libs there. And just to be clear, I still think that. She's still an awful person and just because she has lately said things against Trump doesn't make her an ally. But it's good that Trump is paying attention to her - any time and attention the Nodfather spends on her is less time and attention he has to spend on the rest of his shitty agenda.

You would need to ignore: Trump hosted Epstein at Mar-a-Lago, also at his wedding, also at Victoria's Secret fashion shows, and beauty pageants. You would need to ignore Trump being listed as a passenger on the Lolita Express about half a dozen times. Ignore Trump boasting to Howard Stern on air, into a microphone, that he'd go backstage at his beauty pageants while women were getting dressed. Something that multiple teen beauty pageant contestants voiced complaints over. Ignore that Trump knew Epstein for 15 years, tell a report that he was a “terrific guy” and “He likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side." You'd also have to forget about Trump bragging about his ability to grab women by the p*ssy. Also, ignore the whole Stormy Daniels situation Ignore a jury finding him liable for sexual abuse against E Jean Carroll. and that weird birthday card with the outline of a naked woman. That was just off the top of my head, and I don't think I even covered all the allegations. But to exonerate Trump in their minds, they would have to ignore everything Trump did or said or bragged about. A Schrodinger's defense, to turn a phrase.
