Figure we need a new thread. Really good game yesterday against Velez. Pavon was back in prime form finally, scoring one and setting up that penalty (which was iffy, but made up for a definite one that was missed earlier). Goltz recovered from a disastrous midweek performance to be pretty solid. Tevez didn't really do much besides win that penalty. Feels like every time Villa comes on something good happens as he scored again. I want to see more of him.
Finally a win on the road. Need to get in the habit of it again. The referee from the AFA Bostera was so clearly pro Boca he ignored the most blatant handball in the box I have ever seen by Argentinos Juniors. Andrada came up huge again in the end. We countered nicely here and there in the second half but really lacked finishing. If only Pipa finished his chance to give us some insurance. Meanwhile our gallina friends scored on a play where the ball went out of bounds and off a handball of their own. Boy things are really rigged against those poor guys.
Rossi is like the reincarnation of Orion the way he miscalculates crosses almost every game.. Does Lampe have the starting spot assured for the Copa?
I agree Rossi absolutely scares me right now. He has lost it. As for who starts in Libertadores there's so many rumors as usual, but I don't see why they wouldn't go with him at this point.
Really good game tonight. Zarate and Pavon played lights out and crushed San Martin SJ as you would expect. Nice to finally see Pavon of old again. Mauro needs to start as often as possible it looks like.

Boca's still playing somewhat like crap, but at least well enough to get to the final of yet another cup. They'll need to put it together much better for Libertadores, though.
