Regionalliga Nord was off this weekend. Just the one remaining postponed game was played, which moved Maurer’s Verl one point close to relegation. Enochs and his team mates in Osnabrück have better sportive perspectives, but they are still waiting for the February salary. Regionalliga South was active: Saarbrücken vs Augsburg 1-2. Still no win for Dooley’s club and now even the first loss. Saarbrücken now is down to 7. Elversberg vs Neunkirchen 2-0. Payne and Lawson went full 90 with Lawson receiving a yellow in this important home game. Neunkirchen, who had their only season win in the first game against Elversberg, played without Shoffner again. His playing coach Golombek scored Elversberg’s lead with an own goal. For the first time since months Elversberg left the relegation spots. Hoffenheim vs Wehen 2-0. The eight game streak without loss got snapped without Matarazzo. Before the game Coach Vasic mourned a little about Matarazzo’s suspension as his best player in the air is missing now. Coincidence or not, Hoffenheim scored both goals with headers. Wehen remains on rank 10. Siegen vs Pfullendorf 2-0. Lukin went full 90 in a win that gives Siegen some air to breathe. Siegen climbed to 11 with four points distance to the relegation spots. Looks like from YA perspective the season could be over now as it is the first time at least since very long time if not at all this season, that except Shoffner nobody would relegate. Neunkirchen won’t be rescued anymore, meanwhile they don’t even have half of the points of the second but last. Tuesday and Wednesday there are two postponed games, both with possible YA participation: Neunkirchen vs Offenbach. Neunkirchen just plays for the golden pineapple, but they could help the others by keeping points against a relegation endangered team. Shoffner rather improbable. Siegen vs Aalen. Lukin should play, maybe Norkus gets some minutes. With a win they’d get a pretty safe, but still not comfortable distance to the relegation spots.
Postponed games: Neunkirchen vs Offenbach 0-2. Don't know for sure, but probably without Shoffner. Siegen vs Aalen 1-0. Lukin went full 90, live ticker doesn't mention him. Siegen climbs to 10, Wehen drops to 12, other Yanks not affected by these results.
