NORTH Successful day for Osnabrück and Enochs. A clear 3-0 road win at Dynamo Dresden kept them on top, while 5 of the top 7 just got one point. Enochs scored his second goal of the season for the 2-0 decision short before the break. Later on he collected a yellow. Pic of his goal: http://www.vfl.de/pics/medien/image_1050843554.jpeg But also bad luck for Osnabrück: veteran goalie Uwe Brunn suffered a torn ACL. Less successful was the weekend for Verl and Maurer, who again went full 90. The game ended 2-4 against Kiel, and now they are just two points away from relegation (13th) with 7 games to be played. SOUTH Siegen is struggling more and more. After a 2-4 loss against relegation candidate Darmstadt, they are just one point away from relegation zone themselves. Lukin went full 90 again, while van Buskirk had a 21 minutes comeback after his injury. Despite of a respectable 1-1 draw against 3rd ranked Augsburg, Elversberg is one of the losers of this weekend. Payne and Lawson went full 90, but their team had to watch many rivals win and see themselves drop to rank 17. Shoffner got another opportunity to play full 90. At the 2nd ranked Regensburg it surely was no fun in a 1-6 loss.
Enochs entered the kicker Team of the Day for the third time this season. Lawson was considered to belong to the top 3 players of the game, but didn’t enter the Team of the Day. The first results of the licensing procedure got known. Only five of 53 clubs got the license without any conditions, this includes SV Elversberg.
