Midweek matchday: Shoffner went full 90 again in a 0-3 home loss of Neunkirchen against Hoffenheim. With that score they definitely are relegated seven games before the end of the season. Elversberg did the second coaching change this season after last weekend's loss. Gerd Schwickert, until late last year Matarazzo's coach in Wehen, took over. Payne and Lawson today played in a 1-0 road win at Pfullendorf, while Mason DNP. Lawson was substituted after 81 minutes, the first time since matchday 11 that he didn't play full 90. Elversberg climbed to 15, still in the relegation zone, but closed the gaps to two points Matarazzo faces Bayern Munich's reserves tomorrow; Siegen has the matchday off - because of that they are only 3 points away from relegation now.
Wehen defeated Bayern's reserves 2-0 with Matarazzo playing full 90 in a central mid position. Good win for them, makes them climb to rank 10. Little outlook for this weekend: In the North Verl and Maurer host Holstein Kiel. It's 12 vs 9, but a hot relegation game as even Kiel on rank 9 is just four points away from relegation. Osnabrück and Enochs travel east to Dresden and face Dynamo to defend their top position. In the South Wehen has to fear that relegation zone gets nearer as they have this weekend off. Neunkirchen will have to expect another clear defeat when they travel to second ranked Jahn Regensburg. Also tough job for the trio in Elversberg, who expect 3rd ranked FC Augsburg at home. Siegen travels to Darmstadt, who just changed their Coach to avoid relegation - Siegen needs the points themselves to avoid a closer fight.
