Another mid-week game against a solid team. We have picked up some momentum after the break (except Atalanta :() and we will be playing the same formation as against Genoa with Pato as a lone striker. I personally prefer such formation as it allows some room for Kaka and Seedorf to be creative.
I hope Seedorf and Pirlo play better than on Sunday and maybe Oddo's crossing can improve as well.

I see a 2-1 victory for us with Pato and Seedorf scoring. (cross my fingers)

    FORZA MILAN!!!

    Players called up:

    GOALKEEPERS: Dida, Fiori, Kalac
DEFENDERS: Bonera, Cafu, Favalli, Kaladze, Nesta, Oddo, Simic
MIDFIELDERS: Brocchi, Emerson, Gattuso, Gourcuff, Pirlo, Seedorf
    ATTACKERS: Kakà, Gilardino, Pato

Looks like Favalli at left back, whether Ancelotti will rest anyone with the game vs. Fiorentina at the weekend remains to be seen. Also isn't Gila suspended for this game?

Odessit, it's great that you are starting threads but just remember to always include the [R], or else people start to complain.

regarding the game, Reggina are desperate for points and will look to really try and get a result.

Of course there best players are Nicola Amoruso up top, and Francesco Cozza and Luca Vigiani who are really attacking threats.

Their defense and midfield are not the best however and we have to look to exploit that.

Good thing Gila is available or we would really be hurting. Reggina has only scored 17 goals and is tied for 3rd on the worst scoring teams in serie a.

    2-0 Milan!

Who is playing where in this formation, I cannot tell from the stream.

I see the back fine and Gila/pato up top, can't get a read on the midfield, is it a 3-1?

Gattuso is having a hell of a game! It looks like we're playing the 4-5-1 again, with Emerson instead of Ambrosini and Pato instead of Seedorf.

Most of them from outside the box, Gattuso forced Regginas keeper to make 2 good saves, Pato had 2 strong shots that went over the bar, Gilla had 2 that went wide, Pirlo tried to chip one over the keeper and it went over.

Pirlo hits the bar with a freekick, Oddo takes the rebound and gets his first good cross of the evening, Emerson takes the header to the ground but it goes right to the keeper.

Now a cross from the left, Pato hits a nice volley that goes wide by a big margin.

Yeah, that was strange. I think he wanted to chip a pass to Kaka but hit the ball in a wrong way.

Yes he is and has come off for Yoan....most of patos shots made it to Messina today. I know Pato is good and deserves to do better because I know he is able to.

Not really, he was playing deeper than usual, had a solid display and tried some kicks from outside the box, but didn't do anything special. He also made a bizarre pass to Regginas keeper =P

Pato had a poor game. Baby steps in Serie A its not easy to learn right away.
