I can't remember which thread it was in where I commented how maximalist free speech are ok with violence and a couple people asked for clarity. If that wasn't here, sorry. Just not here enough to keep tabs on things (suffice to say work has gotten busier). Stochastic terrorism leads to violence. What Trump did before and after the 20 election, publicly and privately, lead to the deaths of cops during the insurrection. His lies and speech led to that. A FSM by definition has to be ok with that. A misogynist is far more likely to end up physically assaulting (to one degree or another) a woman than non. A FSM has to be ok with verbal violence hurled against them, and the consequences that result. People like Kirk spent their careers talking about how gay and trans should die. This fuels the violence that community experiences every day. A FSM has to be ok with the deaths of that community. How many mass shooters were inspired or driven by RWM talk of killing black and brown people? The Great Replacement Theory is a terrible lie. A FSM has to be ok with that talk, and the violence inflicted on non-whites. How many men chanted Your Body, My Choice, after the regime won power? How many have acted on that? A FSM has to be ok with all the violence inflicted on trans/women as a result of that rhetoric. People like Kirk are not worthy of one ounce of sympathy or empathy. He was a monster who preached violence in life and died as he preached: violently. Sometimes the universe does enjoy it's ironies and justice.

I agree with your post, but want note this part. He said he was fine with somebody harassing another as being a hard line since harassment is illegal. And I noted that Kirk was harassing the gay and trans community from a public setting. It was met with silence.
